Villa Bayad is a spacious, luxurious 4 bedroom villa, designed by Popo Danes, one of the most reknowned
architects in Southeast Asia. The villa is traditionally laid out as a compound, the 4 bedrooms being separate
houses beside the main house, all connected by flower-covered pergolas. From every room there is a beautiful
view across the surrounding rice terasses to Bali’s sacred vulcano in the horizon.

The staff
In the villa a full time staff of 8, including maids, driver, cook and gardeners, is ready to make sure, that your stay here will be unforgettable.

Surrounded by 8000 m2 garden, laid out as sloping terrasses and bordered by a small river, you will constantly experience the amazing touch of undisturbed nature.
Moving through jungle-like vegetation, you will arrive at the raditional gate and lobby, where the magnificent view of the garden and the ricefields awaits you.
In the garden there are numerous coconut palms and fruit trees, and the organicly grown vegetable- and herb- gardens supply the villa’s household.
The spacious living- and dining area opens up to a large veranda, surrounded by flower covered, multi-level
fishponds and flanked by two comfortable bales, where you can relax, listening to the sprinkling water and
enjoying the beautiful view.

An open, fully equipped kitchen is ready for the staff to prepare your meals on your request - or you can use the kitchen yourself, if you prefer to cook your own meals.
In the main house you also find an airconditioned mediaroom / library with the best of audio- and video-equipment.

The 4 spacious airconditioned bedrooms are all separate houses, two of which are sharing a private open kitchen- and dining-bale as well as a private springwater fed plunge-pool and pooldeck.
Each house offers a furnished veranda and bathroom complete with shower cabin and a small walled garden with outdoor shower.
All bedrooms are equipped with cable-tv and DVD-player, and the beds are dressed with the best quality of cotton bed linen.
The four houses are differently styled and named after four distinguished locations in Bali: Tenganan · Klung Kung · Ubud · Singaraja
The Tenganan House
This is the largest bedroom, tile thatched, styled and named after the the pictoresque Bali Aga village near
the east Bali coast.
Standing on columns, overlooking the main pool, it is right on the brink of the lower garden area. The
breezy high perched veranda offers a close view over the rice paddies to the mountain in the distance.
This house has a large queensize bed and a spacious walk-in closet.
It is possible to supply with an extra bed if needed.
The parltly open bathroom, floored with natural stone tiles, offers two washbasins, WC and shower cabin.

Directly connected is a beautiful open, walled spa-area, covered by a traditional bale in the middle of a
reflecting pond.

The Klung Kung House
This house is styled and named after the old royal town in the center of east Bali. It is located closest to
the main house and has the loveliest view to the ricefields from it’s veranda.
The bedroom has a hardwood floor and is fitted with a queen size bed (with dividable mattresses if
needed), a walk in closet and a TV with DVD-player.
The partly open bathroom, floored with natural stone tiles, offers two washbasins, WC and shower cabin.
It is possible to supply with an extra bed if needed.

This house is also connected to the spa area.

The Ubud House
This house is styled and named after the nearby town - Bali’s cultural center.
The bedroom has a hardwood floor and is fitted with a queen size bed (with dividable mattresses if
needed), and a TV with DVD-player.
The bathroom, floored with natural stone tiles, offers two washbasins, WC and shower cabin.
In addition, it has a small walled garden with an open air shower.
It is possible to supply with an extra bed if needed.

The Singaraja House
This house is styled and named after the former capital and trading town on Bali’s north coast.
The bedroom has a hardwood floor and is fitted with a queen size bed (with dividabe mattresses if
needed), and a TV with DVD-player.
The bathroom, floored with turquise coloured terazzo, offers two washbasins, WC and shower
cabin, as well as a small walled garden with an open air shower.
It is possible to supply with an extra bed if needed.

The Ubud- and the Singaraja Houses share a private open air fully equipped kitchen- and dining-bale, as
well as a private spring-water fed plunge pool and pool-deck.

The Main House
This house offers a large living- and dining area as well as a fully equipped open kitchen. An adjoining
kitchen store is fitted with a side-by-side fridge/freeser and a microwave oven.
The living- and dinig area has a natural stone floor and a spectacular cathedral-like traditional ceiling. It is
furnished with spacious sitting areas, a 10 seat dining table and multiple artwork.
The rooms opens through folding doors towards a spacious natural stone floored veranda, all surrounded by water lily-covered, terrassed fishponds and with two flanking traditional bales offering breezy, shady relaxation.

The airconditioned mediaroom/library has a hardwood floor, is fitted with a built-in sofa and coffeetable
and offers the best of audio and video equipment.

A tastefully decorated guest powderroom is also located in the main house.

The spa area is connecting two of the bungalows. It is a beautiful pen, walled court. Covered by a traditional bale in the middle of a reflecting pond. Here is a natual stone bathtub and an open air
waterfall styled shower and a massage bed.Simply ask your staff to arrange for massage and wellness treatments
The main pool
The huge 18 by 5 meter pool is springwater fed and flanked by a spacious hardwood pooldeck furnished with
numerous sunbeds and sunshades. Protruding into the pool is a traditional bale, where you can relax in the
shade.

The plunge pool
The plunge pool connected to the two smaller bungalow, is also springwater fed, and is flanked by a small stone floored pooldeck with sunchairs and sunshade.

Spanning a small canyon of rocks, lily ponds and waterfalls, the Sunrise Bridge offers you a beautiful breezy spot for dining or relaxing – or to receive yoga lessons.
Ask your staff to arrange for a yoga instructor. Yoga mats and -cusions are available in the Villa.

Connecting to the pooldeck is the teriyaki kitchen with café-tables and -chairs. Here you can enjoy your drinks, snacks or poolside-meals from the genuine teriyaki grill.

If you want to keep fit during your stay, an airconditioned, well equipped gym is at your free disposal

Mountain Bikes
Mountainbikes can be arranged for you, if you like to explore the countryside.
